Nancy Bravo

Bilingual Education Coordinator

Nancy joined the Center for Land-Based Learning as a Bilingual Education Coordinator in Fall of 2025. She was born and raised in Woodland and brings a personal and professional connection to agricultural communities, having grown up in a family of agricultural workers and worked on farms herself throughout Yolo County before attending college. These early experiences drew her to CLBL for the work they do to support the agricultural industry. Nancy is excited to work with programs that empower individuals to reach their full potential and support them throughout their journey.

She graduated from UC Davis with degrees in psychology and Chicano studies, along with a minor in education, and is currently pursuing a master’s in counseling. Prior to joining CLBL, she spent several years working with first-generation and economically disadvantaged students and their families, providing bilingual academic advising, college and financial aid workshops, and leadership skills across Sacramento and Woodland. Her work has focused on culturally responsive education and creating inclusive spaces where students and families feel seen, supported, and informed.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, aquascaping, visiting the coast, journaling, and watching documentaries.
