Farming, Agriculture, and Resource Management for Sustainability (FARMS) is established as a stand-alone high-school education program.

CLBL breaks ground on a new 30-acre headquarters at The Maples Farm in Woodland, California, providing field and classroom learning space for programs and the community.

May Speaker Series: Natural Pest Control

Join us at our HQ in Woodland to learn how to use natural enemies to control pests on your landscape. Rex Dufour from the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) shares his expertise on pest management and creating habitat for beneficial organisms. CENTER FOR LAND-BASED LEARNING

Efficient Irrigation overview

This 4-week hands-on course provides practical training on the principles of irrigation. Participants will learn essential techniques for designing, installing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems that promote sustainable water usage and support healthy crop growth. Through field demonstrations and real-life applications, gain the skills you need to optimize water distribution, reduce waste, and ensure crops receive the right amount of water at the right time. Mobile Farmers Market Weekly schedule

Our Mobile Farmers Market starts its Weekly Summer Schedule May 13th. Choose from one of 11 stops throughout Yolo County from West Sacramento and Woodland to Esparto and Knights Landing! Put us on your weekly shopping list and enjoy local, seasonal produce at affordable prices.

All the produce offered is grown by local farmers within 100 miles, and the majority of it is grown within 25 miles. Everyone who qualifies for CalFresh/SNAP benefits will receive a 50% discount.
