Floral design workshop

Every beautiful arrangement starts with a good cut, made at exactly the right moment.

In this hands-on workshop, flower farmer and florist Sarah Larkin will take you into the field to learn that timing firsthand. You’ll learn how to identify blooms at their ideal harvest stage, use proper cutting techniques, and condition flowers to maximize vase life.

After harvesting a selection of seasonal flowers, you’ll learn the core principles of floral design and build your own garden-inspired arrangement to take home.

Speaker Series JULy

This monthly event is a fun way to connect and learn. Each month, we focus on a different topic, highlighting some of the difference-makers in our region. Enjoy hot wood-fired pizzas, cold drinks, and great conversation.

Building on the foundation of her landmark book Tending the Wild, Kat Anderson weaves storytelling, cultural insight and practical guidance to offer a grounded and helpful path to reconnection—one that honors the Indigenous wisdom that lies in all earth-based cultures around the world.

A booksigning follows the talk.
