Sara J. Reid

CoBank

Sara has over 20 years of lending experience and a lifetime of experience in agriculture. She is Vice
President at CoBank, a part of the Farm Credit System, a nation-wide network of independent borrower
owned and community focused financial services organizations supporting rural communities and
agriculture. From a farming and ranching family in Colorado and a 3 rd generation ranch owner, Sara is
passionate about agriculture, rural communities, their people, and the thread that ties them all
together.

Sara has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of
Denver. In addition to her passion and dedication to CLBL, Sara is also a past State President of
California Women for Agriculture, one of the largest volunteer organizations dedicated to advocating for
agriculture in California and serves on the Board of Directors for the Water Education Foundation, a
non-profit dedicated to providing information about water in the West.
