Join us at the Sycamore Trail Community Orchard in West Sacramento to explore regenerative farming practices for urban orchards. The Center for Land-Based Learning is hosting a free pruning training February 21st from 9:00-noon

Participants will learn about the key elements of a thriving orchard and take part in pruning activities that will support a variety of fruit trees . Together, we’ll keep trees healthy and safe by removing damaged branches, improving airflow and sunlight to boost fruit quality and yield, and maintaining an well-balanced shape. There will be time for mentored practice pruning real fruit trees.
