Born in Redmond, Oregon, Serena spent several years working in Benefits Administration in the Bay Area before relocating to West Sacramento in 2020 to be closer to family. Since moving to Yolo County, she has embraced the region’s rich cultural diversity and strong sense of community.
Driven by a lifelong passion for natural healing and sustainable living, Serena became a certified herbalist and launched her own line of handcrafted remedies designed to support wellness from within. Each product is thoughtfully made in small batches using locally grown herbs and botanicals. Sharing her gifts with the community is at the heart of everything she does.
Her deep appreciation for agriculture and local food systems led her to the Center for Land-Based Learning, where she graduated from the Community Food Ambassador Program in 2023. Today, she actively supports the program by training new Ambassadors and fostering meaningful connections between farmers and their communities.
As an herbalist, food artisan, and community educator, Serena is committed to nurturing both people and the land—with intention, tradition, and heart.
