Brian Franco serves as the Accounting Clerk for the Center for Land-Based Learning, bringing his expertise to the organization’s operations since February 2024. Brian is responsible for some of the financial administration and management of accounts across CLBL’s signature programs, including FARMS, SLEWS, the Community Food Ambassador Program, and the Beginning Farmer Training and Incubator programs. Raised in Winters, CA, Brian has a firsthand appreciation for California agriculture, growing up amidst major producers of walnuts, almonds, and apricots. This local connection informs his work, which ensures the financial health of the organization and its ability to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders. Brian has cultivated his business and financial skills since 2014, formalizing his expertise with an accounting certification in 2023. Outside of work, Brian enjoys exploring historical mythologies and documentaries.
