The Native Plant Nursery
at the Farm on Putah Creek is a unique plant growth facility that provides multiple benefits to various audiences. The Nursery strives to meet the needs of students, interns, visitors, landowners, and conservation organizations by providing hands-on learning experiences focused on California native plant identification, seed collection and propagation techniques.
The Native Plant Nursery also provides excellent internship opportunities to students of all ages wanting to apply classroom knowledge to the field. Internships can be flexible and individually- focused, depending on the needs of the learner.

PLANT SALES:
- The Native Plant Nursery at the Farm on Putah Creek produces California native plants that are derived from local genetic sources (when available) to ensure plant survival and long-term ecosystem health.
- The Nursery has a diverse selection of trees, shrubs, forbs and grasses for purchase, all available in various container sizes.
- The Nursery also provides special contract growing for species/source- specific orders.
