CLBL StudentEach year, The Center for Land-Based Learning (CLBL) works with more than 1,000 high school students in our sustainable agriculture and environmental restoration programs. These students work and learn on farms and ranches, restore native vegetation and stabilize stream beds, all while connecting their classroom learning to real life experiences.

Co-sponsors a group of students for a field day in the SLEWS program.

Your $100 donation directly engages California high school students in habitat restoration projects through the SLEWS program.

Sponsors a student in the Green Corps internship program for a summer - putting them on the right track for college.

Your $50 donation allows us to offer college bound high school students paid work experience, career exploration, and education in sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship through the Green Corps program.

Why it matters. All 2011 Green Corps interns are now enrolled in college.


Allows us to buy tools like shovels and wheelbarrows for all our programs.

Your $25 donation gives a student the chance to get their hands dirty out on a field day.

Why it matters. 56% of FARMS graduates have a career involving the agricultural or environmental sciences, and 85% have been involved in community or volunteer work.
